Know these cold
- Linux privilege escalation: SUID binaries, weak sudo rules, kernel exploits.
- Windows: SAM database, NTLM hashes, LSASS; Kerberos basics.
- Password attacks: brute force, dictionary, rainbow tables, credential stuffing. Salting defeats rainbow tables.
- Tools: John the Ripper, Hashcat, Hydra. Biometrics as a second factor.
